Proactive replacement of a 104-year-old cast-iron water main that connected the city of Perth Amboy to the city of Sayreville, NJ by way of the Raritan River. “The existing main had experienced numerous breaks over the past two decades due to age, corrosivity and the unstable nature of the underwater environment,” said G. Christian Andreasen, P.E., MWC director of engineering.
